SO LIKE, ever since the announcement of this event, I've wanted to do soMETHING to show Cortes's obsession with Kyogre because oh my gOD??
Back when Cortes started sailing, probably around his 20s or so, he got latched onto a really really unhealthy obsession with Kyogre, like Kyogre crafted the seas and that's kINDA CORTES'S LIFEFORCE
Seriously I mean this guy's got a bandana and a coat with Kyogre's pattern on it, he says a little prayer to Kyogre every time he eats fish (don't tell anybody he does that he keeps that kinda secret), he's dreamed of meeting Kyogre, if he actually existed, ever since he was a little zorua pup, I mean tHIS IS A HARDCORE KYOGRE FANBOY HERE
AND THEN SUDDENLY A REAL LIFE KYOGRE POPS UP IN TOWN Cortes probably instantly exploded.
I COULDN'T LET THE OPPORTUNITY PASS ME BY
Like even though it's just a watergun fight, ""serving"" Kody would be the biGGEST HONOR IN CORTES'S LIFE (he's probably cried a few times over getting to help Kody with anything)
HE WOULD SELL HIS SOUL FOR AN AUTOGRAPH FROM THIS FISHMAN

Oh dear God...I don't know if there's anything I can say that hasn't already been said. I mean....Jeez.
Not an inch of this picture goes to waste; something awesome or hilarious is happening everywhere you look. There's more expressions here than in a German film (#BadExpressionismJoke). The characters are all so beautiful and the colors are just as fantastic; especially the backlighting...again.
And then, there's Cortes. Are you just committed to killing everyone with this guy? He's too. Fracking. Funny. If you don't put this guy on a leash, he's gonna kill someone...Probably me.
The only other thing I can say about this pic is...Will ye sign ME bloody face?
PS- The MVP's duking it out is awesome...Or at least, that's as close to "duking it out" as anyone gets with Sunni, Destroyer of Worlds.
