I have so many messages to get to but I really don't feel well right now so I'm just gonna upload this and then sleep...
I don't think I've ever actually done this meme before
The one on the left was drawn in 2004 when I was 11 years old
Pokemon Emerald was brand spankin' new and I was head over heels for that game (and nothing could top it until ORAS came out)
I was reeaallly invested in this game, and I was like obbbsseesssed with Team Aqua.
I drew this in my 6th grade science class oh my god. I wanted to draw myself as an Aqua grunt, but since I was only 11, I couldn't draw myself in a shirt that showed my belly. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. So I drew a... less revealing outfit. Meaning a pokeball shirt and a bandana with a Gigan eye on it oh my god.
Now that I'm 21 I can draw myself in a belly shirt if I want to you're not my mom
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are out and setting the pokemon fandom on fire and I'm like hghnfhfgnfhg
I haven't been so emotionally invested in a Pokemon game since Emerald, and I just can't express my love for these games. I didn't think anything could top Emerald, but OR and AS are just as perfect as the original RSE, and improved upon things I didn't even know needed to be fixed.
It's been 10 years since Emerald, and now that my RSE love has been reignited, I thought it'd be fun to redo that disaster on the left.
So here's me as an Aqua grunt again.
I decided to draw my Armaldo with me this time because this Armaldo has been with me since Emerald, and has been in every game since.
Back on the original drawing, over to the right I wrote down what my pokemon team was at the time, and the same Armaldo was listed there. It made me feel warm and fuzzy.
He's not ready for poke-retirement yet, and he's going to keep getting covered in ribbons as long as pokemon is still a thing god dangit.
I'm so glad Team Aqua went from being cool to being the best team ever oh my god
Never let me be an Aqua grunt because I'll just spend all my time trying to get into Archie's pants

I've always wanted to try out this meme with one of the oldest/ugliest pieces of mine and see what can be done with it x,D
It's also really cool that you've been able to transfer your Armaldo that long ;o; The oldest pokemon I have was a Blastoise that I used once in Leaf Green- and then the next few oldies where whoever survived from my Diamond copy. I traded the games themselves around so much that a lot of my earliest fellas got lost in oblivion
(I keep everyone under lock and key now on my X cartridge, since I refuse to leave them in an online server a;ldsnfsdl 
)
Team Aqua is also best team
Ever since playing Sapphire they've been my favorite no questions asked- and Alpha Sapphire cemented that for me tenfold :,P
